1. Monthly Premium

• Keeping my monthly premiums as low as possible is the most important thing.
• I don't mind paying a little more monthly, as long as I have a low co-pay and hospital visits are covered.
• I will pay for my day-to-day medical costs. I just want coverage in case something big happens.

2. Doctor Selection

• Having more doctors to choose from is very important to me.
• I will stick with one doctor, but I need lower co-pays at the doctors office, and I want labs and x-rays covered.
• I hardly go to the doctor. So it doesn't really matter. If I need to see a specialist, I will just go.

3. Deductible

• Affordable monthly premium, but higher deductible and out-of-pocket maximum.
• Low out-of-pocket maximum, but higher monthly premiums.
• High deductible, but lower out-of-pocket maximum and lower monthly premium.

4. Other Factors

• I don't need maternity coverage, I'm not getting pregnant.
• I want maternity coverage and 1st dollar coverage for office visits and perscriptions
• I already maxed out my IRA, and I am looking for other tax-advantaged savings options.
